Decanter at the UK Stallion Expo - Sunday

**We are delighted to announce Treliver Decanter is ranked 16th in the BEF Futurity Sire Ranking for 2009

with the youngsters having an average score of 8.72**

British Warmblood Society Champion Sport Horse Stallion for 2003.

Descended from numerous famous dressage and jumping stallions

Decanter has three fabulous paces and an excellent technique jumping, added to this a wonderful temperament and superb colour make him a sire not to miss. We are now getting enquiries from Europe for his semen and have sold two fillies and two colts overseas.

Decanter has just had his first season competing, coming out in May, he qualified at the Addington Regionals in August and competed at the BD National Championships in September. Unfortunately Ulrik is no longer eligible to compete at Novice so Decanter could not qualify for the Winters. Ulrik has bought him out this season and he has qualified for the summer Regionals at Elementary and Medium and the Winter Regionals at Medium.

After many wins in Grand Prix, Grand Prix Special and freestyle classes at International level he became German champion in Mannheim with his constant rider Karin Rehbein in 1994, team world champion and individual bronze medal winner in The Hague. This was followed by another climax in 1997: Team gold and individual bronze at the European Dressage Championships in Verden. In 1998 he was once more included in the German world championship team and with Karin Rehbein was a member of the gold medal team in Rome, where he attained fourth place in the individual results. His grand children seem to have been the real stars – Galapagos with Gabriella Grillo represented Germany at the 1982 World Championships, and was one of the first stars of the ‘new’ class, Freestyle Dressage to Music. Grandeur (Gralsritter) won over a million Deutschmarks in a spectacular showjumping career, and since then has proven himself as a superior sire. Grande’s son Graphit sired winners of over almost two million DM and sired one of the most important jumping stallions of them all, Grannus. The Graphit son, Grundstein was one of Germany’s leading stallions before his export to the United States. Another son, Graditz sired Isabell Werth’s Olympic and World Championship star, Garibaldi II sired the American dressage star Gifted who carried Carol Lavell to a team bronze at the 1992 Games and placed 4th individually. Garibaldi II died at the age of only 14 which was a great loss.
